Ukrainian artist RukankoMen, whose name has become synonymous with children's dance trends, is making a radical shift. After a month of silence on social media and in the media space, the performer returns with a fundamentally new sound, a mature image, and bold experiments.
From Silence to Transformation
The artist's absence from the public eye for the last 30 days sparked a wave of rumors among fans. However, behind this pause lay not a problem, but deep internal work. RukankoMen admits that he needed to completely disconnect from external noise to hear himself and create something truly new.
"We are used to being online 24/7, but to create something new, sometimes you need to completely mute the outside world. I needed this month to hear myself," the artist explains.
Project Evolution
The RukankoMen project has existed for over three years and has undergone significant evolution alongside its audience. While initially known for dance tracks for children, today his music appeals to teenagers and adults. The focus is on motivational affirmations and anti-stress rhythms.
The performer emphasizes that his creativity has gone far beyond the one hit that started it all. "Now my tracks can be listened to while jogging, in the car, or in the office to decompress and catch the rhythm of the workday," the artist notes.
New Track "Vona": Experiments and Meanings
The main event of the return was the premiere of the composition "Vona". In the sound of the track, the artist combined experimental elements of k-pop, phonk, and other genres. The lyrics of the song are dedicated to complex themes of relationships and a person's ability to recover after a painful breakup.
"Even when it hurts after a breakup, it is important to draw conclusions and not stop. "Vona" is about the fact that life goes on, and the best way to heal a broken heart is to start living and dancing again," the performer shares.
Visual Code: Tattoo and Style
Along with the sound, RukankoMen radically changed his appearance. For the first time in his life, the artist got a tattoo, choosing three words in Korean for this: "Movement. Success. Dreams". This symbol sets the vector of his new stage image, emphasizing his readiness for change.
In the music video for the song "Vona", the directors and the artist combined elements that previously seemed incompatible. RukankoMen describes this process as gaining the freedom to be himself and show the audience a mature performer ready to set new trends.
