In the Odesa region, Russian forces attacked the Titan food enterprise, which produces meat and dairy products under the Kiliya brand, for two consecutive nights. According to Odesa Regional State Administration Head Oleh Kiper, the nighttime strike caused the administrative building of the civilian facility to burn down almost completely.

Large-Scale Destruction and Damage in Odesa Region

The Titan plant, located in the Kiliya community of Izmail District in the Odesa region, was targeted two nights in a row. During the previous attack, all raw material and finished product stocks intended for production were destroyed, and production facilities suffered severe damage. Preliminary estimates put the damage from the previous day's attack at over 260 million hryvnias.

Titan LLC has been producing meat, dairy, bakery products, and semi-finished goods for about 30 years, distributing them across most regions of Ukraine and abroad. Following the two consecutive nighttime strikes, the future operations of the enterprise have been called into question.

Massive Attack Across Ukrainian Regions

In addition to the Odesa region, on the night of October 22, various regions of Ukraine experienced a large-scale assault, with Kyiv being the primary target as it was hit by 21 ballistic missiles across three waves of strikes. Energy infrastructure, railway and subway facilities, shopping malls, and enterprises sustained significant damage in the capital.

The Kyiv attack resulted in one death and 24 injuries, including seven children. Destruction and damage were recorded across six districts of the city, affecting residential and commercial areas extensively.

Significance of Events and Infrastructure Consequences

Systematic strikes against civilian industrial sites and urban infrastructure inflict severe damage on regional economies and disrupt food supply chains. The destruction of production capacities at facilities like Titan threatens local food security and community employment.
