The home of Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk and his family has sustained damage as a result of Russian shelling. The public learned about the incident from social media posts shared by the athlete's wife.
Details of Destruction on Social Media
Kateryna Usyk published a photo in her Instagram-stories showing a glass door or window at their residence. The snapshot shows that while the glass survived, it is entirely covered in a dense web of cracks. The athlete's wife did not disclose any further details, simply captioning the photo with the word "Home" and adding a broken heart emoji.
Contradictory Data
At present, open sources lack precise information regarding the exact date when the property was damaged, as well as the specific location of this residence. It is only known that shortly before the publication, the family was vacationing in Spain, and Kateryna recently announced her return to Ukraine. No casualties were reported.
Previous Property Damage History
This is not the first time the Usyk family's housing has suffered from Russian aggression. At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russian military forces seized the athlete's house in Vorzel, Kyiv region. The invaders placed tanks and armored personnel carriers in the yard, and after the settlement was liberated, the family discovered a mutilated territory and damaged property which they later planned to demolish completely.
