A new major scandal is brewing in the Ukrainian show business, centering on the families of two famous TV hosts — Vladimir Ostapchuk and Anatoliy Anatolich. The conflict, which began with a dry statement about being blocked on Instagram, escalated into a public argument between the spouses, where personal details were revealed, accusations of hypocrisy were made, and third parties were mentioned, including Vlada Yama and Svetlana Loboda.
The Incident: From Blocking to Public Accusations
It all started with an interview given by Anatoliy Anatolich to the publication Wave RBC.UA, which was released in August 2026. The host reported that Vladimir Ostapchuk had blocked him on social media. Anatolich tried to smooth things over, stating that there had never been a personal conflict between the men, and added that Ostapchuk had moved to Canada, so there was no need to "drag" them back into the Ukrainian information space.
However, this version of events did not resonate with Ekaterina Ostapchuk. Vladimir's wife categorically refuted Anatolich's words, stating in her Telegram channel that communication ceased not because of her husband, but specifically because of Anatolich's wife — Yula. According to Ekaterina, it was Vladimir who blocked Anatolich, and twisting the facts on this matter is pointless.
Personal Grievances and Mentioning Godparents
Ekaterina's decisiveness was not limited to the fact of the block. She reminded Anatoliy of his close communication with Vlada Yama and his attempts to "whitewash" the reputation of Svetlana Loboda, whom Anatolich calls his godmother. Ekaterina considered Anatolich's phrase about not needing to return those who have left to the Ukrainian space to be hypocritical, pointing out that there are "more stories behind Loboda than behind us".
"Then don't drag your godmother Loboda... And don't visit Yama in America," emphasized Ostapchuk's wife. She also explained why she had remained silent about the breakup for a long time: it was done out of respect for the fact that the families were once close and even celebrated church holidays together. However, according to her, communication ceased precisely because of the hypocrisy of the Anatolich family.
Counterattack: "You Were Always a Trailer"
Yula, the publicist and wife of Anatolich, quickly intervened in the conflict. She appeared in the comments under Ekaterina's post and dealt a sharp blow to her reputation. Yula stated that she had never been friends with Ekaterina personally, calling her Vova's "trailer". According to Yula, the friendship with Vladimir existed "two wives ago" before Ekaterina appeared.
"Put your sincerity in one place. And commenting on Loboda or Yama is not your business," wrote Yula, ending her message with the phrase "Goodbye, or whatever it is in Canadian".
Who Initiated the Friendship?
Ekaterina did not leave the response without a remark. She refuted Yula's claim about the long-standing friendship between the men, stating that before her appearance, Vladimir and Anatolich were merely acquaintances, not friends. According to Ekaterina, they were not invited to any of Ostapchuk's weddings and never visited him at home. It was she, according to her, who became the initiator of the rapprochement between the two families.
Furthermore, Ekaterina hinted that she knows much more about the past of the Anatolich family but consciously does not bring it to the public, considering it a low action. "They told something, thinking it was between us. Everything will remain between us," she emphasized.
Vladimir Ostapchuk's Reaction
Vladimir Ostapchuk himself publicly supported his wife but urged her not to react to provocations. He wrote that he continues to consider it wrong to pay attention to "people from the past". Ostapchuk also expressed surprise that people still talk about him, despite the fact that he moved to Canada, is 7000 km away from Ukraine, does not give interviews, and only publishes family photos.
"Katy still has the impression that justice exists and that you can prove something to people... Relax," he added. Anatolich himself has not yet reacted to the continuation of the scandal, remaining on the sidelines of the public argument between his wives.
