A new financial support system is being introduced in Ukraine for the most successful applicants. Participants of the 2026 National Multidisciplinary Testing (NMT) who demonstrate outstanding results will be eligible for an increased monthly scholarship.

According to the President of Ukraine Foundation for the Support of Education, Science and Sports, the monthly payment will amount to 10,000 UAH. However, not every student will be able to obtain this status: the conditions for receiving the scholarship are quite strict and require impeccable preparation.

Selection criteria: not just passing, but mastery

The key condition for receiving financial support is a high score in all subjects. To be eligible for the payment, a graduate must score at least 185 points in each subject. This requirement excludes the possibility of receiving a scholarship if there is even one weak result in the testing.

In addition to high scores, the applicant must successfully enroll in a Ukrainian university. Thus, the program is aimed at those who not only possess excellent knowledge but also choose domestic universities to continue their education.

The goal of the program — retaining talent

The President's Foundation emphasizes that the initiative was created as a direct incentive for talented youth to stay in Ukraine. In the context of global competition for personnel, the state offers financial motivation so that school graduates see a promising future in domestic education.

"NMT may turn out not to be so difficult. But even if you have to make an effort, the state will definitely support and reward you. We will be happy to see everyone in a Ukrainian university," the Foundation noted, calling on young people not to fear the difficulties of preparation.

Context of educational support

This initiative fits into a broader context of state policy to support students. Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy instructed to consider the issue of increasing scholarships for students of vocational-technical colleges. The goal of those measures was to stimulate the choice of applied professions necessary for the country's economy.

Thus, the support system covers different levels of education: from applied specialties to elite academic training. Earlier, it was also reported about the possibility of receiving scholarships of up to 27,000 UAH for special achievements in various educational institutions, which expands opportunities for motivating students.
