Singer and actress Selena Gomez shared with her fans the principles behind her everyday makeup and named the specific products she says she never goes a day without. The artist emphasized that her daily beauty look is intentionally simple and doesn't take much time, and that most of the products she mentioned belong to her own cosmetics brand, Rare Beauty. She gave a detailed account of her routine and her personal attitude toward her own appearance in an interview, the materials of which were published by WAVE (wave.rbc.ua).

A Minimalist Routine in a Few Steps

In Gomez's own words, her makeup starts with a base: she presses the product twice and spreads it across her entire face with a brush. Next comes the brow gel, after which the artist applies blush, coats her lashes with mascara, and finishes the look with lip oil. "It's all quite simple. I use two pumps of foundation and spread it across my whole face with a brush. Then I use my brow gel, and after that — Bouncy Blush, mascara, and lip oil," the singer said, listing the key items in her makeup bag.

Naturalness as Part of Identity

Gomez noted that she loves the natural result of this kind of makeup, although, by her admission, this beauty approach isn't to everyone's taste. "Sometimes people don't like a natural beauty look, but right now it's kind of my whole identity," the artist said, explaining why she abandoned more complex, multi-layered schemes in favor of a light daytime look.

Insecurities About Her Eyebrows

Separately, the singer talked about which cosmetic products she wished she had as a child: she would have loved to have the Bouncy Blush and the brow gel. Gomez recalled that at a young age her eyebrows were very thin, and later they became thick, which made her feel insecure for a long time — at that period, the thin shape was in fashion. "I always felt insecure because I had very thick eyebrows, and now they're in fashion," the artist shared, adding that she now loves lamination and brow gel, which, in her words, "make you feel a little more alive."

Regret and Acceptance

Wrapping up her story, Selena Gomez admitted that today she regrets only one thing — that she didn't learn to accept this feature of her appearance sooner. "I wish I had learned to accept it when I was younger," she added, turning her personal experience into a message about accepting one's own looks. Thus, her beauty routine turned out to be not just a set of Rare Beauty products, but part of a broader story about how one's attitude toward oneself changes with age.
