On May 28, the Dnipropetrovsk region once again found itself at the epicenter of Russian aggression. Large-scale attacks by the enemy led to infrastructure destruction and human casualties. According to the latest data, several settlements were hit, and the number of injured exceeded a dozen, including minors.
Geography of the Tragedy: From Nikopol to Synelnykove
Alexander Ganja, head of the regional military administration, confirmed that strikes were carried out in the Nikopol, Synelnykove, and Pavlohrad districts. The affected areas included Nikopol, Marhanets, Chervonohryhorivka, Pokrovka, and Myrivka. Damage was inflicted on both municipal property and private homes. Residential high-rises, private housing, industrial facilities, and civilian vehicles were targeted.
The Most Vulnerable Victims
Particularly concerning is the statistics of injured children. As a result of the shelling, six minors sustained injuries: girls aged 1, 4, 8, and 14, as well as boys aged 10 and 13. Fortunately, their condition allows for outpatient treatment. However, the situation with adults is much more serious. A 46-year-old man and a 56-year-old woman were taken to hospitals with severe injuries. Doctors are fighting for the life of the injured man, whose condition is assessed as critical.
Severe Consequences in the Synelnykove District
Special attention should be paid to the situation in the Synelnykove district, where the enemy attacked the district center. Damage affected private homes and vehicles. Two women were injured, one of whom is an 89-year-old pensioner. She is in a medical facility in a serious condition, highlighting the ruthlessness of enemy strikes against the civilian population.
Cumulative Effect of Attacks
It is important to note that this is not an isolated incident. Earlier in Pavlohrad, as a result of a morning drone attack, the number of injured rose to 10 people. The Ternivka community was also subjected to an attack. The Russian side continues to systematically strike at Ukraine's rear regions, ignoring humanitarian norms and endangering the lives of civilians.
