Ukraine is being hit by a powerful wave of bad weather. Already today, May 27, the sky over most regions will be covered with clouds, and rain will become a constant companion throughout the day. Meteorologist Natalia Didenko warned that along with precipitation, strong winds will arrive, reaching stormy values in some areas.

Temperature Map: From Heat to Coolness

The atmospheric front passing through the country is dictating its own conditions. The weather will be uneven: in the south and southwest, one can still expect summer warmth — thermometers will show from +25 to +28 degrees. However, in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, and Luhansk regions, the air will be significantly cooler — only from +17 to +21 degrees. In other regions, the daytime temperature will settle at +20...+23°C.

Situation in Kyiv

The capital will be at the epicenter of wind activity. It is expected that a blizzard from the northwest will blow with gusts up to 15–20 meters per second. Moreover, Kyiv will not be without rain, and the daytime temperature will be around +21 degrees.

What's Next?

This day will be the last warm one before a noticeable cooling. Starting from May 28, there will be a significant drop in temperatures across the country. Due to the forecasted conditions, a yellow level of danger has been declared in Ukraine, reminding citizens to exercise caution.
