On June 7, the settlement of Balabino in the Zaporizhzhia region was struck by Russian forces. The attack was carried out using guided aerial bombs, resulting in casualties among the civilian population and significant damage to infrastructure.
Number of casualties and injured
According to the latest data, two people were killed as a result of the shelling. A third victim is in critical condition. In total, five people sought medical assistance, ranging in age from 17 to 79.
Among the injured is a 59-year-old man who sustained injuries during the strike on an infrastructure facility. He is receiving necessary medical care.

According to Fedorov, a representative of the regional military administration, the aerial bombs fell in close proximity to a public transport stop. This location is frequently visited by local residents, making the attack particularly dangerous for civilians.
Significant destruction has been recorded at the scene: buildings, vehicles, and elements of urban infrastructure have been damaged. Photographs taken at the site show debris from structures, as well as the work of rescue and medical services.

The regional military administration and police responded promptly to the incident, confirming the death of two people and the hospitalization of five. An investigation into the circumstances of the attack is underway.
