New attack on the Donetsk region
August 4 marked a new tragedy for the residents of Kramatorsk. Russian occupiers struck the city center with aerial bombs, causing significant damage to infrastructure and human lives. According to the latest data, 22 people were injured as a result of the attack.
Vadym Filashkin, Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration (RMA), confirmed that the enemy dropped two aerial bombs, damaging residential and non-residential buildings. All relevant services immediately arrived at the scene to eliminate the consequences and assist the injured.
Rising number of casualties
The situation developed rapidly. Initially, nine injured were reported, but by 14:22, the number of victims rose to 22. This indicates the severity of the strike and the scale of destruction.
Filashkin emphasized that this is yet another targeted attack on civilians in the region. He urged everyone still near the front line to evacuate immediately, as staying in the region is extremely dangerous.
Evacuation and support
Authorities have promised assistance to all who wish to leave dangerous zones. Evacuation will be free, and the local administration will provide support in organizing transport, accommodation, and necessary aid.
Earlier, RBK-Ukraine reported on other attacks by Russian occupiers, including a missile strike on a crowded area near Odesa and the bombing of the ice cream manufacturer 'Lasunka' warehouses. It was also reported how air defense forces repelled the enemy's night attack on August 4.
