On the night of June 26, Kremenchuk became the target of a large-scale attack by the Russian Armed Forces. The city was struck using unmanned aerial vehicles and ballistic missiles. The primary focus of the attack was the industrial facilities of the region.

According to Vitaly Dyakovnych, Head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, who posted the information on his Telegram channel, the enemy aggression occurred during the night. As a result of missile and drone hits on the city's infrastructure, there was a partial power outage.
The situation in the city was quickly brought under control. Energy service specialists immediately began restoration work. According to the latest data provided by PJSC "Poltavaoblenergo" and confirmed by Dyakovnych, power supply in Kremenchuk has already been restored.
Situation Regarding Casualties
Despite the intensity of the attack and hits on infrastructure objects, there is currently no information about victims or casualties among the civilian population. This has been the only positive outcome of a difficult night for the residents of the region.
Context: Systematic Attack on Industry
This incident is not isolated. Kremenchuk has repeatedly been the target of Russian strikes. In particular, on the night of May 14, the city was subjected to a combined attack during which energy facilities, industrial zones, warehouses, and even residential areas were damaged.
Ukrainian Energy Minister Denys Shmyhal previously noted that Russia is deliberately attacking the country's oil refineries, using thousands of missiles and drones. According to him, more than 60 missiles and about 250 unmanned aerial vehicles have been fired at the Kremenchuk refinery alone during the conflict. The current attack confirms that the region's industrial potential remains in the enemy's focus.
