On the night of June 7, Ukrainian Special Operations Forces (SSO) carried out a large-scale operation to strike fuel infrastructure on the temporarily occupied peninsula. As a result of drone attacks, two strategically important facilities were damaged: an oil depot near the settlement of Lenino and a sea terminal in Feodosia.

"Semikolodezyanskaya" Oil Depot: A strike on the rear

One of the main targets was a facility in the village of Yedi-Kuyu, known to Russian occupiers as Lenino. Located approximately 200 kilometers from the line of contact, the "Semikolodezyanskaya" depot plays a critical role in supplying the Russian grouping. It houses nine tanks with capacities ranging from 700 to 3,000 cubic meters.

According to SSO data, this hub is used for the storage and transportation of fuel oil, diesel fuel, and bitumen. Railway tankers deliver petroleum products throughout Crimea and to other occupied territories, providing the Russian army's equipment with the necessary fuel.

Strike on the Feodosia terminal

The second target of the attack was the sea oil terminal in Feodosia, located even further away — 250 kilometers from the front. This is a multifunctional complex designed for transshipping oil from railway transport to sea vessels.

The terminal grounds contain seven large tanks with capacities of 10,000 and 20,000 cubic meters. Russian forces use this facility to build strategic reserves intended to supply Crimea in the event of emergencies or disruptions to logistical chains.

Strategic objective of the attack

Representatives of the Special Operations Forces emphasized that such strikes are aimed at the systematic weakening of the enemy. "Striking oil refining infrastructure reduces its economic and logistical capabilities," the military stated.

These actions are part of an asymmetric war, the goal of which is to deprive the adversary of resources for conducting hostilities. Previously, the SSO reported establishing fire control over the Melitopol-Chongar route, which significantly complicated the delivery of equipment and fuel to Crimea.
