On the morning of July 6, a powerful explosion rocked Dnipro. The target of the Russian attack was the sorting terminal of 'Nova Poshta' (GPO). The impact of the shell caused a massive fire that engulfed a significant part of the building. Footage from the scene shows destroyed structures, scorched walls, and debris scattered around the perimeter. Despite the building suffering serious damage, firefighters quickly brought the fire under control.

No human casualties

The most important information released by the operator's press service is that no one was injured as a result of the strike. Terminal staff managed to evacuate before the fire engulfed the building. Currently, emergency services and investigative-operational groups continue to work at the site. Their task is to assess the exact scale of the destruction and the condition of the cargo that was inside the sorting center at the time of the attack.

Logistics has not stopped

Despite the destruction of a key hub in Dnipro, 'Nova Poshta' guarantees uninterrupted operations. In the operator's press release, it is emphasized that the logistics network is functioning in normal mode. To compensate for the work of the damaged terminal, reserve logistics schemes have already been deployed.

Kyiv suffered particular destruction, where 11 people were killed and 46 were injured as a result of the shelling. A day of mourning has been declared in the capital.

The situation with air defense remains tense. The Spokesperson of the Air Force of Ukraine, Yuriy Ignat, stated that some missiles, including 'Zircon' missiles, were not fully intercepted due to a critical shortage of interceptor missiles for 'Patriot' systems. Strikes on logistics facilities, such as 'Nova Poshta' terminals, indicate the systematic nature of the enemy's attacks on the civilian economy.
