On June 23, a new missile attack occurred in the Belgorod region of Russia. Preliminary data indicates that the Alekseevka Chalk Plant, one of the largest industrial enterprises in the region, was hit. This information was reported by the Russian Telegram channel Astra, as cited by RBC-Ukraine.
The plant, which specializes in the extraction and processing of chalk for the construction, chemical, and other industries, sustained critical damage. Comments accompanying the published images state that the facility's building was virtually destroyed during the strike.
History of Attacks on the Facility
This is not the first attack on the Alekseevka plant. Earlier, in June, the enterprise was already subjected to a drone attack. Now, according to new data, the scale of destruction has increased significantly.

The Ukrainian General Staff confirmed the attack and stated that a depot in the Prokhorovka area was hit.
Previously, Belgorod was also shaken by a series of powerful explosions. According to the Russian side, energy infrastructure facilities were damaged at that time. As a result of attacks on a thermal power plant and substations, there were disruptions in electricity, water supply, and heating.
