On the night of Monday, June 15, Kharkiv was struck again. Russian occupiers attacked the city's zoo — as a result of the shelling, animals were injured and enclosures damaged. Details of the incident are being clarified.

This was reported by Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov. According to him, the hit on the zoo is confirmed: there are damages to the enclosures, and there is also information about injured animals. Other details of the incident are currently being ascertained.

Repeat strike: rescuers killed
This is not the first attack on Kharkiv in recent days. Earlier, Russian occupiers launched a repeat strike on the city, resulting in the death of five rescuers from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. They were extinguishing a fire that arose after the previous shelling.
Attacks on cultural and industrial facilities
The day before, Russia attacked Kharkiv several times. First, there was news of shelling at the Kharkiv Art Museum — several people sought medical help due to acute stress reaction.
Then, a hit on a facility in the Kholodnohirskyi district of the city was confirmed. The Head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, published footage from the scene: fire engulfed the third floor of the building, the scale of the fire was significant.
Massive attack on Kyiv
On the same night — June 15 — Russia carried out a massive attack on Kyiv. Numerous fires broke out in the capital: residential and non-residential buildings, a dormitory, the territory of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, cars, and warehouses were burning.
Events of recent days show that Ukrainian cities remain under constant threat. Strikes on civilian objects, including zoos, museums, and residential areas, cause outrage and require international attention.
