On the night of June 13, 2026, the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out a large-scale series of strikes against strategic targets deep within Russian territory and in occupied areas. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, key elements of oil transport infrastructure, enemy command posts, and troop concentration areas were targeted.

Damage to Oil Transport Infrastructure in the Volgograd Region

One of the main results of the night operation was the destruction of an oil preparation and pumping plant near the settlement of Kotovo in the Volgograd region. A major fire was recorded on the site, visible in photos from the scene.

This facility plays a critical role in the logistics of Russian hydrocarbons. It is here that oil is collected from the Korobkovskoye field in the Volgograd region, as well as from neighboring fields in the Astrakhan region and the Republic of Kalmykia. Taking such a hub out of operation can significantly disrupt raw material supply chains.

Strikes on Command and Control Posts

In addition to infrastructure, Ukrainian forces struck command posts of the occupying forces. Targets included facilities in the areas of Soledar (Donetsk region) and Verkhnia Krynka (Zaporizhzhia region). Enemy unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) control points were also attacked, reducing the effectiveness of their reconnaissance and strike operations.

Attacks on Troop Concentration Areas

Defense forces struck areas where Russian troops were concentrated in several strategically important locations. Strikes were carried out near Soledar, Uspenovka, Golubovka, Privolnoye, as well as in the settlements of Kolotilovka, Novye Yurkovichi, and Chernozemny Gorodok. The last group of targets is located in the Bryansk and Belgorod regions, indicating an expansion of the geography of strikes.

Additional Operations and Consequences

During the night operations, unmanned systems forces attacked three Russian units undergoing training at a range in the Zaporizhzhia region. As a result of the attack, several units of the enemy's air defense equipment were destroyed.

Parallel to the ground strikes, the occupation administration of the Kherson region reported new drone attacks on bridge crossings in the direction of Crimea. As a result of these actions, traffic towards Dzhankoy and across the Arabat Spit was partially blocked, creating additional logistical difficulties for Russian military forces.
