On the night of July 1, the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out a series of large-scale strikes against military infrastructure and industrial facilities within Russian territory and in frontline zones. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed strikes on a space industry enterprise, as well as key logistics hubs responsible for the transfer of equipment and ammunition.

Strike on a Roscosmos Enterprise in Penza

One of the priority targets was infrastructure serving the Russian defense industry. Ukrainian units attacked the JSC "Scientific Research Institute of Physical Measurements" in the Penza region. According to military data, a direct hit and heavy smoke were recorded at the facility.

The enterprise is part of the "Russian Space Systems" holding, which belongs to the state corporation Roscosmos. The plant specializes in producing critically important products for the rocket and space industry, making it a strategically significant target.

Disrupting Logistics Chains: Bridges and Warehouses

Alongside strikes on industry, the Armed Forces of Ukraine focused on destroying the enemy's supply routes. Three crossings used by the occupiers to transfer troops and cargo were attacked. The destruction of these objects will paralyze vehicle movement and hinder the delivery of material and technical resources to the front line.

Special attention was paid to the enemy's stockpiles. A train carrying fuel and lubricants in Melitopol was hit. Additionally, three material and technical support trains were struck in the areas of Krupki (Kursk region), Rovenopole (Donetsk region), and Novye Egorki (Kharkiv region).

Strikes on UAV Control Centers and Infrastructure

An important element of the operation was the destruction of control points for hostile unmanned aerial vehicles. The Armed Forces of Ukraine neutralized five such objects: two in the Zaporizhzhia region (areas of Grozovoye and Zheleznodorozhny) and three in the Donetsk region (Udachnoye, Novoalexandrovka, and Pokrovsk). This significantly reduces the enemy's capabilities in using drones for reconnaissance and attacks.

On the night of July 1, a bridge on one of the key highways, actively used by the occupiers to transfer equipment, was also destroyed. Previously, Ukrainian drones had struck an oil refinery in Ufa and other fuel infrastructure objects, causing damage to the aggressor's economy and military potential.

Consequences for the Enemy

The occupiers have repeatedly complained about the effectiveness of new Ukrainian strikes on important objects in the frontline zone and deep in the rear. The attacks inflict significant losses on hostile logistics, disrupt supply lines, and force the enemy to restructure their plans for resource transfer. Systemic strikes on industry and infrastructure demonstrate the Armed Forces of Ukraine's ability to operate at great depth and strike strategic targets.
