Summer 2026 has become a period of active recruitment for Ukrainian employers. The State Employment Service reports a significant increase in job offers in the labor market, particularly in sectors traditionally dependent on the season. Vacancies are open in agriculture, trade, manufacturing, and the service industry.

Job Statistics and Market Dynamics

As of the end of June 2026, approximately 235,000 job offers were registered on the "Unified Job Portal," which combines the database of the State Employment Service and leading recruitment websites. Of this volume, 11,000 vacancies imply part-time employment, and almost another thousand are temporary.

Employment service experts explain this surge as a natural seasonal revival of the market. During the warm period of the year, the need for additional staff increases, stimulating employers to open new positions. Statistics confirm that since the beginning of the year, the most new advertisements have appeared in industries where a traditional summer boom is observed.

Top Sectors for Seasonal Employment

The widest selection of vacancies with part-time or seasonal employment is represented in the following areas:

  • Agriculture and agro-industry;
  • Service industry and HoReCa;
  • Trade and logistics;
  • Manufacturing.

Employers pay special attention to young people. Students are most often offered work on farms. Helpers for berry picking—strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries—are in demand. Vacancies for greening workers, forestry workers, and fruit and vegetable growers are also popular.
