Russian forces once again delivered a massive strike on the Sumy city hromada, employing guided aerial bombs. According to local authorities, the attack damaged residential buildings, civilian infrastructure facilities, and vehicles, while rescuers are extracting injured people from the rubble of destroyed buildings. This was announced by Oleg Hryhorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, and Artem Kobzary, acting mayor of Sumy.

According to RBC-Ukraine, in the evening the enemy delivered a series of strikes on civilian objects in the city. A total of eight impacts from guided aerial bombs were recorded at five different locations. As acting mayor Artem Kobzary clarified, the shelling occurred around 20:35, and impacts in the city were recorded at three locations — in the Kovpak and Zarechny districts. The enemy damaged both the private residential sector and civilian infrastructure facilities.
Rescue Operation and Condition of the Injured
A rescue operation has been launched at the impact sites, with all relevant services deployed. Emergency services have already extracted two people from under the rubble of destroyed structures. The injured are being provided with medical assistance; according to Kobzary's preliminary data, three people are injured, and their condition is being clarified. Search and rescue operations at the impact sites are ongoing.

"The Russians have once again deliberately delivered a massive strike on peaceful people," emphasized OVA head Oleg Hryhorov. Residents of the hromada are urged not to ignore air raid alerts and to remain in shelters, as the threat of new enemy attacks persists.
