Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko, following a meeting with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, stated her position regarding her future work in the government. According to the head of the Cabinet of Ministers, she is ready to continue serving the state, implementing tasks aimed at strengthening the country's position and protecting national interests.
As reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing the politician's statement, during the conversation with the President, the parties discussed the key challenges facing the country, as well as the necessary changes to improve the efficiency of the government's work and interaction with international partners.
Pooling resources and evaluating the team's work
Sviridenko emphasized that under current conditions, it is critically important to unite all forces and resources for the strengthening of Ukraine. She expressed gratitude to the President for his trust and high assessment of the activities of the team she leads.
"I am proud to have had the honor of leading the Government during the most difficult period in Ukraine's modern history," the Prime Minister noted in her statement.
Special attention in the speech was paid to the armed forces. Sviridenko thanked everyone who is defending the country, calling the military the "strength and independence" of the state. She also expressed appreciation to the government team for their work under conditions of massive challenges.
Economy and operational decisions
The head of the government recalled the extensive work done during her tenure. According to her, the team visited every corner of the country, paying special attention to frontline regions. During this period, extremely complex and operational decisions were made that allowed the country to survive a difficult winter.
"We did not allow the enemy to stop the heartbeat of our state — the economy — for a single second," Sviridenko emphasized.

During the meeting with the President, the parties discussed the next steps in the country's development. "I am ready to continue serving the Ukrainian state and performing tasks aimed at strengthening Ukraine's position, protecting national interests, and bringing about a just peace," the Prime Minister added.
Recall that Yulia Sviridenko took over the government on July 17, 2025, replacing Denys Shmyhal, who had led the Cabinet of Ministers for more than five years. Earlier, on July 12, Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced a change in the composition of the government and security forces. According to the President, the current Prime Minister was offered to head a new significant direction in relations with a key partner. The head of state also reported on upcoming changes in the leadership of law enforcement agencies.
