The organizers of the prestigious WTA 1000 tennis tournament in Wuhan, China, have held the official draw, determining the bracket and potential opponents for the representatives of Ukraine. A total of seven Ukrainian tennis players made it into the main draw of the competition, demonstrating the country's strong presence on the international arena in the current 2026 season.

Path of the Leaders: Svitolina and Kostyuk Bypass the First Round

Elina Svitolina, seeded fifth, will begin her performance in Wuhan directly from the second round. Her first opponent will be the winner of the match between experienced Czech tennis player Katerina Siniakova and neutral athlete Liudmila Samsonova.
