Terrorist attacks in Odesa: how FSB agents orchestrated a series of car bombings and innocent lives were lost

A major case involving a series of terrorist attacks committed on July 28 is unfolding in Odesa. The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has detained three perpetrators acting on behalf of Russian special services. As a result of two car bombings, one person was killed and two others were injured.

Two explosions in one day

Events unfolded rapidly. On that same day, two explosions rocked the city, each meticulously planned by Russian handlers.

The first terrorist act was directed against a Ukrainian defender. The perpetrators were two students from a local technical college. To guarantee the success of the operation, they developed a disguised surveillance system to precisely calculate the moment of the explosion. Miraculously, the SUV driver survived, sustaining only minor physical injuries, although his vehicle was practically destroyed.

A bloody finale for a taxi driver

The second terrorist act, which occurred later that same day, was more tragic. To carry it out, Russian agents recruited a local recidivist previously convicted of drug trafficking. The target was the vehicle of a civilian resident working as a taxi driver.

Forensic analysis revealed that a homemade bomb with a power of approximately 500 grams in TNT equivalent had been placed under the car's chassis. The explosive was detonated remotely while the vehicle was moving through the city streets. The driver died on the spot from his injuries, while his female passenger was urgently hospitalized in critical condition with severe wounds.

Hunt for the perpetrators

Law enforcement agencies demonstrated high operational efficiency: all three perpetrators were located and detained within 24 hours of the crimes being committed.

As revealed during the investigation, Russian agents contacted the suspects through Telegram channels where they were looking for "quick and easy money." During searches of the detainees, mobile phones and SIM cards were seized, containing correspondence and irrefutable evidence of carrying out the enemy's tasks.

Criminal prosecution

SBU investigators have already announced suspicions against the detainees under the article concerning terrorist acts. The investigation is ongoing, and Ukrainian authorities are urging citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious job offers that may conceal sabotage activities.
