A serious thunderstorm is approaching the Ukrainian capital and surrounding regions. The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, together with the State Emergency Service, has declared the first level of danger for weather conditions. Residents and guests of the city are urged to be extremely vigilant in the coming hours.

Weather forecast: thunderstorms until the end of the day

  • Construction companies will be forced to suspend work at open sites.
  • Utility services are preparing for possible system failures.
  • Transport movement may be hindered due to reduced visibility and road surface conditions.
