On July 10, Ukraine is expected to experience a sharp change in weather conditions. Instead of scorching heat, residents will face cloudiness, precipitation, and the risk of thunderstorms. The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center has warned of the possibility of heavy rain, hail, and gusty winds in several regions.
Geography of the bad weather
According to the forecast reported by RBC-Ukraine, the sky in most regions will be covered with clouds with some clearings. Precipitation will be moderate and short-term; however, forecasters predict thunderstorms in some areas.
Special attention should be paid to the eastern regions. Heavy rains are expected in the Sumy, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions, as well as in Crimea. During the day, hail is not excluded in certain areas.
Dangerous gusts
In addition to precipitation, meteorologists warn of strengthening winds. During the day, gusts with speeds of up to 15–20 m/s are possible. At night, the situation will stabilize: in most northern and central regions, precipitation will cease.
Temperature background
Air temperatures on this day will vary depending on the region:
- Throughout the country, daytime temperatures are expected to range from +19° to +25°.
- The south and southeast will be the warmest — from +23° to +28°.
- In the western regions, thermometers will show from +15° to +20°.
Forecast for Kyiv
The capital will also not be spared from weather changes. In Kyiv and the Kyiv region on July 10, it will be cloudy with clearings. During the day, forecasters predict short-term rains.
This forecast confirms previously stated data from meteorologists that the current week in Ukraine will pass without the severe heat characteristic of previous days. A drop in temperature and active precipitation will be the main features of the weather for the coming days.
