The service in question is Truth API, which provides clients with direct access to the information stream in real-time. As RBC-Ukraine reports, citing Associated Press, the target audience will include investment companies, algorithmic traders, and other participants in the financial market, for whom every second of information delay can cost millions.
Prices for the chosen few
The cost of subscribing to this exclusive communication channel is impressive. The base price can reach $100,000 per month. However, for major clients willing to sign a long-term contract for three years, a significant discount is provided — down to $60,000 monthly.
In addition to the rapid delivery of news, the service will include an archive of posts dating back to 2022. This will allow algorithms and analysts to conduct deep retrospective work, analyzing historical data on the president's sentiments and statements.
Criticism and conflict of interest
The initiative has sparked a stormy reaction within the American political establishment. A number of politicians and ethics experts have subjected the project to harsh criticism. The main argument of opponents is simple: the posts of the US President regularly have a direct impact on stock prices and the movement of financial markets. Selling accelerated access to this information effectively creates an artificial advantage for a narrow circle of the wealthiest investors over other market participants.
