US President Donald Trump has once again surprised his followers on the social network Truth Social by publishing the results of another medical examination. The White House chief stated that he passed a complex cognitive test "with flying colors," calling this result unique for a sitting leader of the country.
In his post, Trump emphasized that he has successfully taken similar tests four times already. The leader, as always, used his characteristic writing style, mixing lowercase and uppercase letters to emphasize the importance of the news. He described the result of the medical examination conducted at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center as PERFECT.
"Extraordinary Intelligence"
Trump is proud of his mental abilities and compared himself to his predecessors. "Unlike other US presidents, none of whom have ever taken an approved, high-difficulty cognitive test, I scored a perfect score — 30 out of 30, which is considered 'extraordinary intelligence'," the president wrote.
He also noted that this was his fourth successful test. Summing up the results, Trump stated that he answered 120 questions correctly out of 120. Against this backdrop, he called on Congress and Democrats to make passing complex cognitive tests mandatory for all candidates for the positions of President and Vice President.
Experts question the difficulty of the test
However, not everyone in the US shares the president's enthusiasm. Renowned American doctor Jonathan Reiner, in a report for CNN, questioned the very essence of the study conducted and its results.
"It seems they tested the president again using the MoCA test," the expert stated. He was referring to the Montreal Cognitive Assessment — a tool that doctors use primarily to detect early signs of cognitive decline and dementia.
According to Dr. Reiner, there are several versions of the MoCA test, but the questions in them are practically repetitive. Furthermore, the expert noted that this is a test for dementia, not for IQ, so the questions there are elementary.
Presidential ambitions and threats
Statements about high intelligence were just part of a busy week for Donald Trump. Just the day before, he stated that he could easily replace all the show business stars who refused to perform at the 250th-anniversary celebration of the US. The president called these artists third-rate and promised to gather a record number of viewers at the event.
Meanwhile, Trump's team is promoting the idea of creating a new $250 banknote with his portrait. The launch of the new bill is intended to coincide with the 250th anniversary of the country's independence.
At the same time, CNN journalists calculated that during his presidency, Trump has already threatened one in every eleven people on the planet. The calculation was based on the total population of the countries to which the US president made public threats.
