On Ukraine's Independence Day, August 24, the country's first-ever drone parade was held on the Dnipro River, during which UFORCE presented its full current lineup of MAGURA maritime unmanned vehicles. The centerpiece was the new MV11 model — according to the developer, the largest drone in its class. Alongside it, the fleet of crewless boats also featured the Sea Baby, Magura, and Sargan platforms.

According to UFORCE, the MV11 was developed by the company's design and R&D bureau in Portugal, with international investment and a focus on the tasks of Ukraine's Defense Forces. The model served as the logical culmination of the public parade showcasing the entire MAGURA family, which, as emphasized, took place on the Dnipro on the state holiday.

From Strike Platform to Maritime Carrier

The key difference between the MV11 and earlier models in the family is a change in role. If earlier MAGURA units were predominantly strike or reconnaissance platforms, the MV11 is positioned as a transport carrier: it is capable of carrying other unmanned systems and equipment. Its main stated feature is the ability to launch multiple carriers directly from its own deck, turning it into a mobile maritime base for other drones far from shore.

Specifications: 2,200 kg Payload and a Week of Endurance

According to UFORCE data, the MV11's larger dimensions provide a payload of up to 2,200 kg and endurance of up to seven days. This allows the platform to operate as a carrier: delivering, launching, and supporting other drones at a distance from shore. The model is intended for reconnaissance, surveillance, support of landing operations, as well as for supplying fuel and equipment to other maritime unmanned surface vessels (USVs) — around the clock and in any weather conditions.

Multi-Domain Capability per UFORCE

UFORCE head Oleksiy Roginskyi describes the MV11 as a platform providing multi-domain capability: a single carrier that transports and launches other unmanned systems far from shore for operations across all domains. Thus, the company presents the MV11 not as a standalone weapon, but as an infrastructure node linking several classes of drones into a unified maritime system.

In the public sphere, there are two different versions of what exactly is meant by the "drone parade." This article is based on the description of the public demonstration on the Dnipro on August 24, where the Sea Baby, Magura, and Sargan fleet was shown and the MV11 was presented. At the same time, a source citing the GUR (Main Intelligence Directorate) reports a "drone parade" near Yalta — that is, close to Crimea, which differs geographically and in nature from the Dnipro demonstration. These two narratives should not be conflated: the GUR's Yalta statement may refer to a separate operation that the editorial team cannot independently confirm. Moreover, the MV11's key technical parameters (payload up to 2,200 kg, endurance up to seven days) currently appear only in the developer's own statements and have not been confirmed by independent testing.
