The Ukrainian military has achieved a technological breakthrough in logistics and supply by implementing a system where combat effectiveness is directly converted into high-tech weaponry. According to Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, units have already ordered half a million drones and other equipment through the Brave1 Market platform.
Digital revolution in the rear
The mechanism, made possible by the updated version of the "eBalles" program, has completely changed the approach to resource distribution. Last August, the authorities integrated the combat points system with the Brave1 Market marketplace. This allowed more than 400 combat units of the Defense Forces to independently select the necessary weaponry, bypassing complex bureaucratic procedures.
The logic of the process is simple and transparent: military personnel complete tasks and receive virtual currency for them, which is then spent on real equipment. The system eliminates intermediaries, allowing units to contact manufacturers directly. Payment and fast delivery are handled by the state DOT-Chain Defence system.
What are points awarded for?
The state rewards not only the direct destruction of the enemy. Points are awarded for a wide range of combat activities, which stimulates a comprehensive approach to waging war. Priority is given to the following types of activity:
- Conducting reconnaissance operations;
- Performing complex logistics;
- Rescuing wounded fighters.
"The more effectively a unit works, the more additional opportunities it will receive," explained Minister Fedorov. This scheme stimulates initiative at the local level, allowing commanders to promptly solve tasks related to equipping their units.
Drones as the basis of enemy losses
Statistics confirm the effectiveness of the new system. Since the beginning of the year, Ukrainian drones have struck 800,000 hostile targets. To date, drones are responsible for more than 90% of all occupier losses. The Minister of Defense emphasizes that this is a fundamental shift in combat tactics.
New developments: from interceptors to scouts
Alongside scaling up procurement, the Ukrainian defense industry continues to produce unique samples of equipment. In particular, the Dancer 4.5.0 interceptor drone was created. This device is capable of reaching speeds of over 450 km/h, striking targets at altitudes of up to 4.8 km, and has a range of up to 30 km.
Also, the company "General Cherehnya" presented a new reconnaissance drone called "Sweetheart". The specialization of the device is conducting reconnaissance in the deep rear of the enemy, which is critical for planning further operations. The integration of such innovations with the combat accounting system creates a closed loop, where success on the battlefield is instantly transformed into new opportunities for victory.
