At the start of Friday, the Ukrainian currency market showed renewed dynamics. Banks and exchange points adjusted their rates in response to the current situation. The US dollar continues to hold near local highs, while the euro, after yesterday's decline, is showing growth again in most segments.

According to Minfin data, the average dollar rate in exchange offices rose by another 5 kopecks. Now, the average price to buy American currency is 44.30 hryvnias, and to sell it is 44.20 hryvnias. The euro also increased in price: the average buying rate rose by 5 kopecks to 51.85 hryvnias, and the selling rate to 51.65 hryvnias.

How rates changed in the largest banks

In the banking sector, there were no significant changes, although individual financial institutions adjusted their rates.

PrivatBank left the dollar rate unchanged. In branches, American currency is sold at 44.55 hryvnias, while the card rate is 44.64 hryvnias. As for the euro, it became 5 kopecks more expensive in branches — up to 51.85 hryvnias, while the card rate remained at 51.81 hryvnias.

Oschadbank raised the dollar buying rate in the app to 44.25 hryvnias (+10 kopecks). Selling in "Mobile Oschad" is 44.45 hryvnias (-10 kopecks), and the card rate remains at 44.65 hryvnias. The euro in the app became cheaper at 51.74 hryvnias (-11 kopecks), which is currently one of the lowest selling rates among major banks. The card rate rose by 5 kopecks and stands at 52.10 hryvnias.

PUMB is keeping rates unchanged. In the bank's cash desks, the dollar is sold at 44.70 hryvnias, and at the commercial rate — at 44.50 hryvnias. The euro in branches costs 52.10 hryvnias.

Monobank raised the dollar buying rate to 44.15 hryvnias (+4 kopecks), while keeping the selling rate at 44.63 hryvnias (+1 kopeck). The euro rate also changed almost nothing: buying — 51.25 hryvnias, selling — 51.80 hryvnias.

  • Dollar (selling): The most favorable rate among banks is currently offered by PUMB at the commercial rate — 44.50 UAH. In PrivatBank, the dollar costs 44.55 UAH, in Monobank — 44.63 UAH.
  • Euro (selling): The cheapest European currency today is sold by Oschadbank — 51.74 UAH. In Monobank and PrivatBank, the rate is 51.80 UAH and 51.81 UAH respectively.
  • Dollar (buying): The best dollar buying rate is currently offered by Oschadbank — 44.25 UAH. In PUMB, currency is bought at 44.20 UAH, in Monobank — at 44.15 UAH.
  • Euro (buying): It is most profitable to sell euros today at Oschadbank — at 51.50 UAH. In PUMB, the buying rate is 51.40 UAH, and in Monobank — 51.25 UAH.
