As of Thursday, August 6, Ukrainian gas station (GS) networks updated their retail fuel price tags. Although the cost of main fuel types (petrol, diesel, and autogas) remained unchanged compared to the previous day, market analysis reveals a significant price spread between different operators.

The market situation is characterized by relative stability; however, consumers should note that the choice of a specific network can significantly affect the final cost of refueling.

Petrol prices: from 79.90 to 85.40 UAH

The most affordable A-95 petrol as of August 6 is available at the "Ukrnafta" network. The minimum price is fixed at 79.90 UAH/l.

At the same time, at SOCAR stations, the cost of the same fuel reaches 85.40 UAH/l. The price difference between the cheapest and the most expensive option is 5.50 UAH/l.

Intermediate positions are held by other major market players:

  • At OKKO gas stations, A-95 petrol costs 82.90 UAH/l.
  • At WOG stations, the price is 83.50 UAH/l.

Diesel fuel: a 6 UAH gap

The situation with diesel fuel (DF) demonstrates an even more significant price spread. The minimum cost is recorded at "Ukrnafta" — 89.90 UAH/l. The highest price is observed at SOCAR — 95.90 UAH/l. Thus, the difference between operators amounts to 6.00 UAH/l.

Autogas: stable range

Prices for automotive gas (propane-butane) fluctuate within a narrower range. The cost varies from 42.90 UAH/l at "Ukrnafta" to 44.50 UAH/l at WOG gas stations.

While local price monitoring in Ukraine records stability on August 6, the global context of the fuel market demonstrates complex dynamics. While Ukrainian retail prices remain unchanged compared to the previous day, international sources report mixed trends in global markets. In particular, data from other regions (for example, Vietnam) indicates that domestic prices may be adjusted during the day depending on global fluctuations in crude oil costs. This creates a situation where short-term stability in Ukraine's retail market may be temporary and dependent on external factors not always reflected in daily reports.
