Ukrainian defense industry takes a new step towards technological sovereignty. BlueBird Tech has announced the launch of a large-scale project for the mass production of domestic cluster aerial bombs (KAB). The initiative is being implemented in close cooperation with one of the country's leading design bureaus.

The decision to launch production is a direct response to requests from the front lines. In the conditions of modern warfare, it is critically important to scale high-precision strike solutions capable of effectively hitting enemy fortifications and command posts. As noted by the BlueBird Tech press service, combining efforts with leading engineers and scientists allows for the gradual breakdown of complex rocketry tasks and the implementation of the most in-demand technologies.

From development to the assembly line

The project has already moved to the active implementation stage. Engineers have begun solving the first technical tasks necessary for organizing full-scale mass production. The best specialists of the Ukrainian school of rocketry are involved in the creation of new weapons.

This step is not an isolated event. Earlier, in May, it became known that a participant of the Brave1 defense hub created the first Ukrainian guided aerial bomb. The development took 17 months, and the Ministry of Defense has already purchased the first experimental batch. Currently, pilots are actively practicing combat scenarios and adapting the use of the new means in real conditions.

Development of the defense sector

Successes in bomb creation are complemented by progress in missile production. According to RBC-Ukraine, Ukraine is already producing three "Flamingo" missiles per day. It is expected that after switching to domestic engines, production rates will increase in accordance with state orders.

At the same time, international cooperation is developing. Ukraine and Germany have launched a joint program, Brave Germany, aimed at developing defense technologies and supporting military startups. These initiatives are forming an ecosystem capable of quickly responding to front-line challenges and supplying the army with modern weapons.
