Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to deliver precise strikes on critical Russian military infrastructure. On the night of July 3, successful operations were recorded both on the occupied peninsula and in active combat zones in the east of the country.

Disruption of Logistics Chains in Crimea

One of the key events of the night was the destruction of the railway bridge across the Krasnogvardeysky Canal. This object played a strategic role in supplying the rear of the occupation forces, serving as the main route for transporting equipment, weapons, and personnel. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the extent of the bridge damage is currently being clarified, but the disruption of the node's operation is confirmed.

Parallel to the strike on infrastructure, Ukrainian military personnel neutralized important enemy communication nodes on the peninsula. In the Artemovka area, an electronic warfare (EW) station was hit, and in Sevastopol, an electronic intelligence unit was destroyed. These actions significantly hinder the coordination of Russian troops and their data collection on the movement of Ukrainian units.

Strikes on Command Posts on the Front

The activity of the Defense Forces was not limited to Crimea. Successful operations to destroy command posts were also carried out on other sections of the front:

  • In the Donetsk region, in the area of the city of Ukrainian, the enemy's unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) control point was hit.
  • In the Zaporizhzhia region, in the area of the settlement of Novgorod, a Russian military command post was destroyed.

Confirmation of Previous Operation Results

The General Staff also confirmed the results of strikes delivered in the preceding days. On June 29, two spans of a highway bridge near Azovsk in the Zaporizhzhia region were destroyed. Earlier, on July 1, the occupiers lost three spans of the bridge over the Kalka River in the Granitnoye area (Donetsk region). These structures were actively used by the enemy to deliver ammunition and manpower to the front line.

These events are taking place against the backdrop of statistics indicating the high effectiveness of the Ukrainian army's actions. June 2026 became a record month for the Defense Forces in terms of the amount of Russian artillery destroyed, showing the highest enemy losses since the beginning of the full-scale war. On the night of July 2, strikes were also delivered on industrial facilities, including the Lukoil-Nizhnekamsknefteorgsintez refinery in Kstovo, where a large fire broke out after the attack.
