Ukrainian IT entrepreneur and investor Volodymyr Lytvyn, founder of Lytvyn Foundation and the European Lytvyn.AI.Foundation, has joined the startup pitch jury at the AI Summit Barcelona 2026 in Spain. The major tech event gathered prominent global innovators, researchers, and investors.
Scale of the Event and Participants
The summit featured representatives from international tech giants including OpenAI, Google, NVIDIA, Microsoft, Cloudflare, AWS, SAP, and JP Morgan. The comprehensive agenda included keynote speeches, working sessions, and live demonstrations of cutting-edge artificial intelligence products.
Startup Evaluation and Winners
Lytvyn evaluated projects on the Startup Pitch jury alongside representatives from leading European venture funds such as Acurio Ventures, Partech, Cathay Innovation, Elaia, and Armilar Venture Partners. Five AI startups reached the final: Papaya, Albion Techbio, Elna Health, Vigiai, and Siren Agtech, with the Vigiai team claiming first place.
Upcoming Initiatives and Barcelona Hackathon
Participation in the summit marks a continuation of the Ukrainian investor's European efforts to support technological teams and tech founders. On October 9-10, Lytvyn.AI.Foundation will host an AI hackathon in Barcelona for 70 engineers, offering a 10,000 euro prize for the best project.
