Ukrainian show business in 2026 is experiencing a real "wave of motherhood": several well-known women have announced pregnancies in recent months and are preparing for the birth of their children. Among them are 46-year-old TV presenter Solomiya Vitvytska, 39-year-old singer Iryna Fedishyn, actress Mila Syvatska, and the wife of TV presenter Volodymyr Ostapchuk, Kateryna. Each story is unique: from first-time motherhood at a mature age to a third child in a family where the couple has been married for two decades. The Ostapchuk family announces their second shared child
The latest news comes from the Ostapchuk family: on August 26 the couple published a joint video and briefly captioned it "Our blessed little family +1," confirming Kateryna's second pregnancy. According to the TV presenter's wife, she already knows the baby's sex and plans to share this information with her followers in the coming days. At the time of the announcement, Kateryna was 15 weeks pregnant, which points to an expected delivery at the end of February or in early March 2027. For the couple, this will be their second shared child: they already have a son, Tymofiy, who will turn two in December.
The family currently lives in Canada: in early June the Ostapchuks moved to Montreal with their son, where they rented a house and bought a car. It is noted that Volodymyr Ostapchuk is a father of several children — his older children from his first marriage to Yelena Voychenko, daughter Yemilia and son Evan, live in Toronto, and after the move he has been able to see them more often. At the time of publication, the actress is in the final weeks of her pregnancy, and the baby could arrive at any moment. The couple met by chance at Zhuliany airport, married in 2024, and moved to Spain at the end of that same year.
