Ukraine's postal service continues to modernize logistics and make package pickup as convenient as possible for customers. Since June 24, new self-service pickup lockers—parcel lockers—have been launched across the country, allowing users to collect orders in seconds without waiting in queues.

New pickup points: where you can now collect your package

According to information published on Facebook by Ihor Smelyansky, General Director of Ukrposhta, parcel lockers began operating in four new locations starting June 24. This is part of a large-scale project to expand the network of automated pickup points.

"Now, on your way to the beach, you can quickly—literally in a few seconds—pick up your package, for example from Temu or AliExpress, where you're sure to find something essential for your summer vacation," noted Smelyansky, highlighting the seasonal relevance of the service.

Numbers and plans: how many are installed and how many will be added

As of June 24, 277 parcel lockers are operational in Ukraine. This represents significant progress relative to the first-phase target of 600 units. The company is not stopping: installation of new self-service pickup lockers has begun this week in additional regions.

The project has received high praise from both employees and users. "Our self-service locker project has become a hit, and judging by social media reviews and feedback from our staff, everyone loves it," shared the General Director.

Why this matters: relieving post offices and saving time

The main goal of introducing parcel lockers is to reduce the load on traditional post offices, where queues often form. Automating the pickup process allows customers to collect packages independently at any convenient time, without being tied to staff working hours.

Moreover, parcel lockers operate at affordable rates, making them attractive to a wide audience—from urban residents to rural areas, where delivery previously required additional transportation costs.

What's next: photos, reviews, and new formats

Smelyansky encouraged customers to share photos with the yellow lockers and their mood after receiving packages. "We look forward to seeing you in our branches and, of course, we await beautiful photos with our beautiful yellow lockers and your excellent mood from a timely delivered package, received without queues and at the most affordable rate," he wrote.

Previously, Ukrposhta had already implemented changes aimed at simplifying citizens' lives: for example, the ability to receive cash and pay utility bills in rural areas without traveling to district centers. The company also updated its logo, strengthening the brand's Ukrainian identity through a new visual style.

Expanding the parcel locker network is not just a technological step, but a real improvement in the quality of life for millions of Ukrainians, who can now receive their orders faster, cheaper, and more comfortably.
