Passengers of suburban trains in several regions of Ukraine should be more attentive: «Ukrzaliznytsya» has made significant adjustments to the train schedule. The changes, affecting the Kyiv, Poltava, and Lviv regions, come into force as early as June 9. The company reports that the adjustments are aimed at optimizing the operation of railway transport under current conditions.
Adjustments on the Teteriv route
In the Kyiv region, changes will affect passengers traveling via Teteriv. From June 9 to 13, the schedule of day trains will be adjusted: some trains will depart from the initial station with a delay. This is a temporary measure valid for several days.
Special attention should be paid to the evening service. Train No. 6622 on the route «Teteriv — Kyiv» will depart 11 minutes earlier than usual. The new travel interval will be from 17:32 to 19:35 (previously the train departed at 17:43).
Changes in the Poltava region
Passengers traveling in the directions of Hrebenky and Yahotyn will also have to take the new schedule into account. The schedule changes will be in effect for two days — June 9 and 10. This concerns individual services, the schedule of which has been adjusted to ensure smoother train movement.
Strengthening traffic in the West
The most significant changes are expected in the Lviv region. The press service of «Ukrzaliznytsya» reports significant innovations on the «Lviv — Rava-Ruska» route. From June 10 to 27, the number of daily services on this route will increase.
Previously, two trains operated on this route. Now, with the exception of Thursday, four trains will depart daily. This will allow passengers to have more options for choosing travel times and reduce the load on individual services.
