The Ukrainian Premier League has officially released the calendar for the national championship for the 2026/27 season. The organizers have determined the exact start and end dates of the tournament, as well as the schedule of key matches that will become the main events of the year for fans.

Tournament Dates

According to information published on the official UPL website, the start of the competition is scheduled for August 1, 2026. The fight for the gold medals will last more than a year and will end on June 4, 2027. The season will be divided into two parts by a traditional winter break.

The first half of the championship will take place in an intensive mode. By mid-December, the teams will have time to play 16 rounds. The basic date for the completion of the 16th round is set for December 12, after which the championship will go on a break.

Key Matches of the First Round

Right from the start of the season, fans are in for principled confrontations. The reigning champion of Ukraine, Donetsk's "Shakhtar", will start its path in the new season with a match against "Kudrovka".

At the same time, Kyiv's "Dynamo" will meet "Left Bank" in the first round derby. These matches will set the tone for the start of the season and allow us to assess the readiness of the teams for the upcoming struggle.

Dates of the Main Derbies

Principled confrontations between the giants of domestic football — "Shakhtar" and "Dynamo" — will take place in the middle and end of the calendar year. Fans will see these matches in the 12th and 27th rounds of the championship.
