The decisive match for the World Cup trophy will feature the national teams of Spain and Argentina. Usyk (25-0, 16 KOs) stated that in this showdown, he will be cheering for the "La Roja," as his initial plan as a fan had to be adjusted due to the tournament schedule.

"I want Spain to win. I support Spain because Portugal lost, so now I am for Spain".
Thus, the champion's choice was dictated by the tournament situation: after the Portuguese team was eliminated, his sympathies shifted entirely to the Spanish.
