During the first party of the 15th season of the romantic reality show The Bachelor, the first major conflict unfolded. Participant Viktoria Khilyuk used a bonus right to take an individual date away from Maryna Kolesnyk, sparking a fierce reaction among other competitors.
Tower interactive and unexpected bonus
At the beginning of the premiere episode, participants were offered an unusual challenge featuring a tower made of glasses. For each successful removal of an item without collapsing the structure, the girls received interesting facts about the main character Vyacheslav Kravtsov. Some hidden cards also contained special privileges for further development on the show.
One of these bonus rewards went to Viktoria Khilyuk. The received artifact allowed her to take away the right to personal communication with the Bachelor from any other contender. Without hesitating for a second, the model and pediatrician decided to use this opportunity against actress Maryna Kolesnyk.
Motives of the act and rivals' reaction
Viktoria explained her decision by a pragmatic approach to the project and Maryna's own behavior. Since Kolesnyk already had a rose at that point, Khilyuk considered such a step completely fair and stated that her conscience was completely clear.
The blonde's action came as a surprise to many girls on set. The previously calm and restrained participant demonstrated a tough character, earning approval from some competitors who noted her determination and clear understanding of her own goals.
Participant profiles on the project
It is worth noting that the 15th season of the show attracts attention with a bright lineup of contenders for the heart of the famous athlete. Viktoria Khilyuk was remembered by viewers and Vyacheslav Kravtsov himself for an original medical gift in the form of her own fluorography.
In turn, Maryna Kolesnyk decided to surprise the Bachelor with a creative approach, presenting him during their first meeting with a painting created using her own body without brushes. Such performances set a high degree of competition from the very first minutes of the broadcast.
Significance of the incident for the show's future
Such drastic decisions at the start of a television project invariably change the balance of power and the dynamics of relationships within the team. Stepping up to steal an individual date sets the tone for the entire subsequent struggle for the attention of the main character Vyacheslav Kravtsov. Viewers can expect new emotional twists as the participants demonstrated their readiness to fight for happiness without compromise.
