A serious political and operational investigation is unfolding in Kyiv and the Kyiv region. In his evening address, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy set a strict task for the security services: to ascertain all circumstances surrounding the Russian attack on the city of Vishneve.
Critical situation on the ground
According to RBK-Ukraine, the situation in Vishneve remains critical. Following the initial strike, a secondary detonation occurred in the city, complicating the work of rescuers. The head of state is personally monitoring the aftermath: Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko reports to him every half hour. The report includes data on clearing debris and extinguishing fires.
Zelenskyy emphasized that he expects a detailed report from the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and intelligence agencies on exactly what happened in the city. "I expect the Security Service of Ukraine and intelligence to thoroughly investigate what happened in Vishneve," the president stated.
Scale of destruction and environmental threat
On the night of July 6, the occupiers launched a massive strike, using a significant number of ballistic and cruise missiles. One of the targets was Vishneve. As a result of the attack, five streets in the city were destroyed.
The environmental situation is of particular concern. Local residents were warned of a sharp deterioration in air quality: the pollution level was classified as "red." This requires immediate measures to protect the population.
Evacuation and assistance
For residents who do not wish to remain in the risk zone, two evacuation points have already been set up in the city. This allows people to evacuate the dangerous area promptly. All details regarding the consequences of the attack and further actions by the authorities will be covered in RBK-Ukraine materials.
