The tournament is currently taking place at the sports tracks of the Western Rehabilitation and Sports Center in Yavoriv, Lviv Oblast, gathering top national athletes during the off-season.

Despite missing two shots during the prone shooting stage, Vitaliy Mandzyn managed to compensate for the time loss with phenomenal skiing pace across the course. The athlete's final winning time was 29 minutes and 39.2 seconds. This victory once again reaffirmed Mandzyn's status as one of the national team's primary leaders ahead of the upcoming winter competitive season.

The silver medal of the national championship went to experienced Artem Tyshchenko, who made only a single error at the first shooting stage and finished 16.7 seconds behind the winner. Anton Dudchenko claimed the bronze medal in the mass start. He skied cleanly without penalty loops for a large portion of the race, but a mistake during the final shooting cost him a higher position on the podium, extending his final gap to 30.4 seconds.
