The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has officially confirmed the results of strikes on strategically important objects deep within Russian territory. According to military data, during a night operation conducted on June 22, critical damage was inflicted on the Vladimir Space Communication Center (SCC) and the Orenburg Gas Processing Plant.

Destruction at the Vladimir Space Communication Center

The main strike hit the facility in the Gus-Khrustalny district of the Vladimir region. According to an analysis of data obtained after the attack, the complex's infrastructure suffered significant damage:

  • The main 25-meter parabolic antenna of the complex was critically damaged.
  • The antenna located on the roof of the Main Hardware and Software Complex was damaged.
  • The central part of the Main Hardware and Software Complex building was significantly destroyed. This area housed satellite modem rooms, multiplexors, and the central switching node.
  • The building of the Hardware and Technical Building No. 1 suffered critical damage; it housed transmitting and receiving complexes, as well as cooling systems for the main antenna's electronics.

Production Halt at Orenburg Gas Processing Plant

The second confirmed target of the attack was the Orenburg Gas Processing Plant. According to the General Staff, as a result of the strike that occurred on June 24, 2026, four gas processing units at the enterprise were hit. As a result of the damage sustained, the production process at the plant has been completely suspended.

Systematic work on striking rear objects

The General Staff emphasized that the Defense Forces of Ukraine will continue to systematically carry out measures aimed at stopping the armed aggression of the Russian Federation. The confirmed strikes on the Vladimir SCC and the Orenburg GPP continued a series of operations conducted in early June.

Recall that on June 21 and 22, Ukrainian units also struck a number of objects on Russian territory. In particular, the space communication center in Dubna (Moscow region) came under attack, where massive smoke, damage to the Main Production and Administrative Building, and the 32-meter MARK-IV antenna were recorded. In addition, during this period, logistical hubs were attacked, including the "Caucasus" port and two car ferries that supplied occupation troops in southern Ukraine.
