The main protagonist of the fifteenth season of the Ukrainian show "The Bachelor" — basketball player Vyacheslav Kravtsov — in a backstage interview with journalist Natalia Denysenko spoke in detail about what he pays attention to when meeting women and what qualities in a potential partner he considers unacceptable. The conversation took place as part of preparations for the new season of the project, aired on STB channel, and became one of the athlete's most candid statements about his personal life before the start of the competitive challenges.
Red flags: profanity and an abundance of tattoos
First of all, Kravtsov listed the qualities that he classifies as so-called "red flags." He called the frequent use of profanity by a female interlocutor one of the main repulsive factors. The basketball player separately dwelt on the topic of tattoos: according to him, one or two inscriptions on the body do not bother him, but a large number of drawings provoke a negative reaction. "If there are many, I think it's too much. To ruin your body like that. For some reason, they think it's beautiful," Kravtsov stated, commenting on his attitude towards tattoos as an element of appearance.
Emotional swings versus tranquility
Speaking about the character of his future chosen one, the athlete recalled "emotional swings" and explicitly stated that this format of relationships does not suit him. "Everyone is more calm and cozy, because all these emotional swings..." he described the desired type of partner. Thus, Kravtsov bet on inner stability and comfort in communication, rather than drama and sharp mood swings.
Values that the basketball player puts at the forefront
In a blitz interview published on the STB TV channel website on June 9, 2026, Kravtsov expanded the list of his personal preferences. He noted that he values sincerity, kindness, good manners, and the desire to develop. Comfortable relationships in his understanding imply mutual support, common interests, and satisfaction from spending time together. At the same time, the basketball player emphasized that respect for the partner's personal space and her having her own hobbies are important conditions for a harmonious couple for him.
Basketball as a hobby, not a mandatory condition
Answering the question whether it is obligatory for his future chosen one to share his passion for basketball, Kravtsov joked: "It would already be enough for me if she distinguishes a basketball from a football." This phrase became one of the most quoted statements of the athlete in pre-season materials and clearly showed that professional affiliation with the sports world is not a criterion for him in choosing a partner.
Children from previous relationships and the host's position
Earlier, Kravtsov had already explained that having children from a participant's previous relationships is not an obstacle for him. "If you have love, then there are no obstacles," the basketball player noted. In turn, project host Grigory Reshetnik in an interview with Styler, published on October 15, 2026, spoke about the role of participants in the development of relationships. He explained that he gives general advice to both sides and encourages them to show initiative: "If you only wait for an invitation, you might never get on a date. But the final decision is still up to the heroes," Reshetnik emphasized.
The fifteenth season of "The Bachelor" continues to remain one of the most discussed entertainment projects on Ukrainian television, and Kravtsov's candid confessions about his expectations from relationships set the tone for the entire season and shape the viewers' understanding of what kind of partner will have to go through the competitive path for the basketball player's attention.
