On the Kharkiv front, it is not just a war but the construction of a new reality. The 'Charter' Corps, together with other units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, is creating a deeply echeloned defense system designed to become an insurmountable barrier for the enemy. These are not temporary trenches but a complex engineering structure including branched trenches, anti-tank ditches, and a network of non-explosive obstacles.

As stated in a 'Charter' announcement, work is underway to create dugouts and other fortification elements that should ensure maximum protection for personnel and the stability of positions. In the summer of 2024, it was precisely these units that halted the Russian offensive in the Kharkiv region, and since then, they have not ceased returning occupied territories.

"From the liberation of forest areas north of Kharkiv in 2024–2025 to the Kupiansk counter-offensive operation in 2025–2026, 'Charter' demonstrates a new quality of the Ukrainian army: strong, technologically advanced, valuing human lives, and capable of returning Ukrainian lands," emphasize Ukrainian defenders.

It is important to note that the village of Hraniv in the Derhachi hromada of the Kharkiv region remains under Ukrainian control. Any enemy claims about its capture are merely attempts at disinformation that do not correspond to reality.

Viktor Tregubov, Head of the Communications Department of the Joint Forces Grouping of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, confirmed that the offensive capabilities of Russian occupiers are rapidly declining. Ukrainian troops are seizing the initiative on the front, achieving significant successes, especially in the Kursk region in August 2024.

The Engineering Art of War

Creating defensive structures requires not only physical effort but also strategic thinking. Every trench, every ditch is calculated taking into account the terrain, possible direction of attack, and supply logistics. This is a true engineering feat performed under constant tension and threat.

Technology and the Human Factor

'Charter' relies not only on heavy artillery and armored vehicles but also on modern technologies that allow increasing the effectiveness of defense. At the same time, the human factor remains key — the ability of soldiers to adapt to changing conditions and maintain morale.

The Future of the Kharkiv Front

If current trends continue, the Kharkiv front could become a model for other sections of the front. The experience accumulated by 'Charter' will be used to train new units and improve defensive tactics. This is not just building trenches — it is creating a foundation for future victories.
