Meteorologists warn of thunderstorms and strong winds
On July 26, Ukraine is expected to experience variable weather. According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, most of the country will see warm conditions with air temperatures reaching up to +29°C. However, meteorologists are warning of localized precipitation and thunderstorm activity in certain regions.
Particularly challenging conditions are anticipated in the eastern oblasts, as well as in the Priazovye region and Crimea. In these areas, brief rain showers and thunderstorms are expected. Significant precipitation is forecasted for the Luhansk region and the Donbas area. Meanwhile, no precipitation is expected elsewhere in the country.
Temperature regime and wind
Despite cloud cover, daytime temperatures will rise to comfortable levels. In most regions, temperatures will range from +24°C to +29°C. In the eastern oblasts, due to precipitation, it will be cooler — between +20°C and +25°C. In the Carpathian Mountains, air temperatures will fluctuate between +17°C and +22°C.
The wind will predominantly blow from the northwest, while in western parts of the country, it will come from the southwest. Wind speeds will range from 5 to 10 m/s.
Forecast for Kyiv
Residents of the capital can expect a calm day. In Kyiv and the Kyiv region, variable cloudiness is forecasted, with no precipitation expected. This presents an excellent opportunity for walks; however, it is advisable to monitor forecast updates, as weather conditions may change.
Context: magnetic storms
It is worth recalling that earlier this week, Ukrainian meteorologists warned about the potential impact of magnetic storms on people's well-being at the end of July. The combination of weather changes and geomagnetic activity requires weather-sensitive individuals to pay special attention to their health.
