The test records, which RBC-Ukraine cites via tech blogger Anvin on X, confirm that the device is equipped with a Qualcomm chipset that has not yet been publicly unveiled, bearing the designation SM8975, previously known by the working name Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro. As envisioned by its developers, this platform is set to become the main rival of the chip that will be installed in the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.
What the Benchmarks Showed
According to the test profile, the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max runs on the new processor's 8-core architecture in tandem with the Adreno 850 graphics accelerator and 12 GB of RAM. It was precisely this hardware combination that was put through the computational tests in Geekbench 7's CPU section. A number of publications, including Pravda.ru, additionally note a core clock speed of around 5.11 GHz, which is typical for top-tier mobile SoCs of the current generation. The exact final scores are not always reported consistently in public materials, since early-hardware results still depend on software optimization and may change before release.

Beyond raw CPU computational power, the entries in the Geekbench 7 database shed light on the graphics capabilities of the new Qualcomm platform.
