Ukrainian rapper and singer YAKTAK (real name — Yaroslav Karpuk) openly talked about a serious injury he sustained earlier this year. The artist admitted to undergoing leg surgery but continued his creative work even during his rehabilitation period.
Injury on Stage
The incident occurred during a concert tour across the USA. According to the performer, it happened during one of the first shows. Due to an uneven stage surface, the artist stepped awkwardly. Initially, he thought he had only sprained his ankle, but later it turned out to be a bone fracture.
"I broke a bone in my leg. As much as I gave myself, the stage was just uneven. It was during the American tour. And at the first or second concert, I stepped very badly and sprained my leg. Well, and then, as it turned out, I broke it, not sprained it. But I got through it all. Thank God," Yaroslav shared.
Non-stop Work
After the surgery, the singer required a long rehabilitation period that lasted several months. Despite his physical condition, YAKTAK did not take a long break. He continued to write songs, prepare for performances, and maintain an active schedule.
"I didn't lie at home. Concerts, tours, writing songs, doing what I always do," the performer emphasized.
The story of Yaroslav Karpuk demonstrates how professionals cope with unforeseen difficulties, maintaining productivity even while recovering from injuries.
