Ukrainian actress Yana Glushchenko, known to viewers from the projects "Diesel Show" and "Na tryokh", spoke candidly to RBC-Ukraine about her health problems and her plans for appearance correction. The star admitted that she is forced to temporarily give up her usual lifestyle due to medical restrictions, and also shared details of her work with cosmetologists.
Health problems and ban on sports
One of the main topics of the conversation was the artist's state of health. Glushchenko admitted that she has not been able to attend training sessions for about a month due to severe pain in the knee joints. According to the actress, doctors have categorically forbidden her any physical exertion so as not to aggravate the situation.
The forced break in sports has become a serious test for the star. She noted that the lack of activity causes her both physical and moral discomfort. The actress is worried that due to the ban on sports, she may gain weight, as she has always carefully monitored her figure.
For reference: throughout her career, Glushchenko's weight has fluctuated between 49 and 57 kilograms. Currently, she is undergoing treatment and hopes to avoid surgical intervention in the joints.
Cosmetology and plastic surgery plans
In addition to health problems, Yana Glushchenko does not hide that she actively uses modern cosmetological methods to maintain her shape. In particular, she gets Botox injections in the forehead area.
However, according to the actress, the greatest concern for her is the double chin. Glushchenko noted that this problem does not disappear even after weight loss or various massage procedures.
"No matter how much I lose weight and whatever I do — massages or procedures — it still sags," the artist shared.
After consulting with a specialist, it turned out that the reason lies in the anatomical structure and active work of the neck muscles. That is why Glushchenko began to seriously think about tightening this area.
At the same time, the actress emphasized that she does not plan to change the shape of her nose, lips, or cheekbones. Plastic intervention in the neck area she is only considering and has not yet made a final decision.
Personal life and career
Yana Glushchenko gained wide fame thanks to her participation in comedy shows, where she worked for many years. She received her artistic education at the Kyiv National University of Theatre, Cinema and Television named after Ivan Karpenko-Kary. In addition to comedies, the actress appeared in Ukrainian TV series and telefilms.
In her personal life, the star also experienced important changes. In 2017, she married producer Oleh Zbarashchuk, and the couple had a son named Tamerlan. However, eight years later, the spouses announced their divorce, noting that they managed to maintain respect for each other.
