For the reigning world record holder Yaroslava Mahuchikh, the London start will be her second in the current series season following her victory in Rabat (Morocco). However, it is in London that the Ukrainian will step into the sector for the first time in the summer outdoor part of the season against her main rival of recent years — the Australian Nicola Olyslagers.
The history of the rivalry between these athletes is full of drama. In the Diamond League-2025 final, the Ukrainian lost to the Australian but managed to take revenge at the 2026 Indoor World Championships.
