On June 24, Ukraine is expected to experience variable cloudiness and warm summer weather. However, forecasters warn of local weather anomalies: short-term rain, thunderstorms, and in some areas—hail and squalls are possible.
Where squalls and hail are expected
According to the forecast from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, the most complex situation is expected in the south of the country. During the day, thunderstorms are possible in southern regions, and in certain areas, forecasters predict hail and wind gusts reaching squall speeds of 15–20 m/s.
On the rest of the territory of Ukraine, significant precipitation is not expected, which will allow comfortable conditions to be maintained for most residents.
Weather in Kyiv and the region
In the capital and Kyiv region, variable cloudiness without precipitation is forecasted today. Residents of the region can expect dry and warm weather without extreme phenomena.
Yellow alert level
As early as yesterday, meteorologists warned of the approaching bad weather and officially declared a yellow alert level. This means that in some areas, adverse weather conditions requiring increased caution are possible.
